We would be honored to have you join us for the 4th Annual Tee Off Fore Youth Golf Tournament on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Colbert Hills Golf Course. This 4-person scramble is a chance to enjoy a great day of golf while directly supporting local kids through First Tee – Manhattan’s programs.
This year has been full of achievements and milestones for First Tee – Manhattan participants:
- Prestigious Honors: Emily Wuggazer became our chapter’s first-ever First Tee Scholar, a national four-year program providing mentorship, professional development, and educational support for college-bound students.
- Scholarship Success: Ruby Wendt earned a $4,000 Make Your Mark scholarship for her outstanding community service project on her path to Ace certification—the highest level of achievement in First Tee.
- Leadership Development: Jessica Kim and Jiyeon Kim were selected to attend the Game Changers Academy in Minneapolis, MN, where they connected with peers from across the country and grew as leaders both on and off the golf course.
- National Stage Recognition: Charlie Haney represented our chapter at the First Tee National Championship, finishing in the top half of an elite field as the youngest competitor.
- Community Outreach: We strengthened our partnerships with the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan and the Flint Hills Summer Fun Camp, bringing golf and life skills directly to hundreds of kids who may not otherwise have access.
In 2025, 557 participants took part in our programs at Colbert Hills—continuing a five-year tradition of serving more than 500 youth annually. With the true cost of programming at $420 per participant, sponsorships and tournament proceeds make it possible to keep registration affordable ($60–$120) and provide scholarships to families in need.
Your support—whether through a team entry, hole sponsorship, or larger gift—ensures that stories like Ruby’s, Charlie’s, Emily’s, Jessica’s, and Jiyeon’s continue to be written here in Manhattan. Together, we can give every child the chance to learn skills that last a lifetime: resilience, confidence, and character.
